Vision Support II™ Softgels from Advanced Orthomolecular Research might provide nutrients to support vision and eye health. The eyes play a very important role in the body and it is essential to maintain their health.
This supplement from Advanced Orthomolecular Research contains ingredients that are known to nutritionally support the eyes. Studies show that age-related macular degeneration is one of the most common eye ailments and this supplement may be able to help slow down the onset of such problems.
Lutein and zeaxanthin present in the pigments of the eyes are involved in the filtration of ultra violet rays that could damage the lens of the eyes. Lutein is called a carotenoid vitamin‚ which means that it could show similar properties to vitamin A and beta-carotene. Zeaxanthin is found in large concentrations in the eyes‚ including the retina‚ lens‚ and macula. The antioxidants in lutein and zeaxanthin could reduce oxidative stress and help curb the activity of free radicals in the eyes.
Astaxanthin‚ present in the supplement‚ is a carotenoid obtained from red algae. It might also provide antioxidant support to the eyes. Benfotiamine is a commonly found form of vitamin B-1 and it might be able to support eye health. The black soybean hull added to the supplement might be a good source of anthocyanin‚ which could protect blood vessels and help maintain the health of the capillaries in the retina.
The supplement is provided in an olive oil suspension because studies show that olive oil could improve the absorption of lutein‚ zeaxanthin and astaxanthin.

Beats the best-selling vision formula.
Purchased for a relative to improve his eyesight. Most best-selling vision formulas do contain two key ingredients ? zeaxanthin and lutein. The problem is, they have token amounts. Almost none of them contain enough. You need at least 5 mg of zeaxantine and at least 10 mg of lutein to make a difference in your eye health. And most eye supplements just aren't potent enough to do you any good. One serving of Vision Support II by Advanced Orthomolecular Research delivers 15 mg of zeaxanthin and 15 mg of lutein, in sharp contrast to 120 mcg (i.e. 0.12 mg) of zeaxanthin and 2 mg of lutein provided by the best-selling vision formula. Vision Support II's price per dose of zeaxanthin or lutein is in fact much cheaper than the best-selling vision formula.
√ I would recommend this item to a friend.
Vision Support II by Advanceed Orthomolecular Research for general eye health.. didn't increase or change vision but definitely helps if your eyes are tired/over worked.
