  I bought this to sub for flour in cookies and brownies. I haven't tried other brands so I can't compare, but this seemed fine. It gives cookies a very light texture, not quite flaky and not quite fluffy. This is kind of a downside for me, since I like denser/chewier baked goods. I like it better for low carb baking than coconut flour or flax meal because it has a very mild flavor, the texture turns out better, and the calories are not as high. Tastes a little bit like cardboard, not gonna lie. If you do use for baking make sure you follow a recipe or only use a little bit, don't sub it 1:1 with flour as it absorbs much more moisture. I also added wheat gluten which might have helped.
