When your baby is sick‚ all you want is for him or her to feel better. In some cases‚ depending on the cause of your child’s illness‚ your pediatrician may choose to prescribe antibiotics. Antibiotics can treat many illnesses by killing bacteria. Unfortunately‚ they can also kill good bacteria inside your baby’s delicate body‚ in addition to the bad. If good bacteria are destroyed‚ the body may become susceptible to a host of other illnesses. A supplement like Pharmax’s HLC Neonate can help restore and maintain bacterial balance after a round of antibiotics.

In addition to restoring good bacteria‚ HLC Neonate can also help boost your baby’s immune system. During a five-year study‚ it was found that babies taking HLC Neonate may be less likely to be at risk developing conditions like allergies‚ trouble breathing‚ and skin problems like eczema. Specially formulated for newborn babies until they turn one year old‚ this product can also help relieve GI problems like diarrhea‚ constipation‚ indigestion‚ and vomiting. It may even help reduce your baby’s sensitivities to dairy products.

HLC Neonate is a highly-concentrated powdered supplement that has a shelf life of several months if stored in the proper conditions. Each serving provides an estimated one billion bacterial cells. The good bacteria contained in this supplement include:

  • Lactobacillus acidophilus‚ which is used to help rebuild populations of healthy bacteria after they were killed by antibiotics
  • Bifidobacterium infantis‚ which can be used to replace good bacteria after your baby has diarrhea
  • Lactobacillus casei‚ which is a bacteria naturally found in your baby’s intestines and mouth
  • Lactose‚ which helps carry the probiotic bacteria through the body for absorption

If you bottle feed your baby‚ simply add one scoop into the formula or milk daily. If you breast feed‚ simply press your finger into the powder and let your baby suck on it. Each bottle of HLC Neonate by Pharmax has 60 servings.

Pharmax has been on the leading edge for more than 15 years‚ providing supplements backed by research-driven‚ scientific evidence. It prides itself on strict quality control and independent testing of all of its nutraceutical products. Every Pharmax product benefits from innovative manufacturing processes that maximize its effectiveness to its users.

      helps with digestive issues

      from Montana on 3/08/2014
HLC probiotics were recommened to me by a friend years ago. Ive used Neonate for my last two babies in the hopes of preventing them from developing multiple food intolerances like their older siblings had. It seems to help their digestion if I remember to give it to them consistently. I dont know that it prevents them from developing food intolerances though. The first child I used it for had a couple of food intolerances as an infant and then at around 15 months started reacting to all sorts of things. My youngest is 13 months and so far only 2 food intolerances. Im being very careful in what I eat (hes nursing) and what I feed him and hopefully he wont develop any more. Neonate did clear up some issues with mucus in his stools so it definitely does something...I just wish it were enough to completely prevent the food intolerances. But there may not be any probiotic that can do that. I will continue to purchase Neonate until I move him to a non-infant probiotic.
