  • Although biotin—also known as vitamin B-7 or vitamin H—is important‚ most foods only contain small amounts of it. If your diet is lacking in eggs and other rich sources of B-complex vitamins like organ meat and nuts‚ you may need to supplement with biotin‚ a water-soluble vitamin that contains sulfur. Biotin helps your body break down protein and fat for effective absorption. It also aids in converting sugar from carbohydrates into energy. Sufficient biotin levels also keep your hair and nails strong and healthy.

If you’re deficient in biotin‚ you may develop symptoms of malnutrition; these include thinning hair‚ loss of hair color‚ rashes‚ depression‚ arm or leg tingling‚ hallucinations‚ dry skin‚ and difficulty concentrating. Extra biotin in your diet may also help control diabetes; since the enzyme helps your body manage blood sugar more efficiently. Pregnant women typically require extra biotin in the form of dietary changes or supplements‚ as well. Individuals with illnesses that negatively affect the appetite—or who are being nourished through feeding tubes—frequently take a biotin supplement in order to regain energy and revitalize metabolism. Smokers may also suffer from mild deficiencies of the vitamin.

Allergy Research Group’s Biotin 5000 capsules contain 5000 mg of biotin that is of the highest available purity‚ free of preservatives or additives.

    Additional inactive ingredients include:

    • Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose
    • Microcrystalline Cellulose
    • L-leucine

The 60 capsule bottle should last for about one to two months‚ depending on the dosage recommended by your health care provider. Ideally‚ Biotin 5000 should be stored in a cool‚ dry place with the lid tightened firmly on the bottle.

Fortunately for those who don’t consume animal products‚ this dietary supplement is fully vegetarian!

Allergy Research Group has been providing high-quality‚ hypoallergenic supplements for over 30 years. Its unique supplements incorporate the latest scientific discoveries‚ making Allergy Research Group products the choice of many physicians and other healthcare practitioners to support the nutrition and health of their patients.

Great way to augment need for Biotin

Much improved hair & nails since beginning Biotin 5000 by Allergy Research Group a few months ago. After seeing my hair thicken, my husband is now using them also and I honestly think his hair has started & he has only been using them 2 months!

    Pros

I think that they outperform anything over the counter (OTC) that I have found on local drugstore or grocery store shelves, and I have never had improvement with anything else I tried. (I tried at least 3 months using each of the other products.) In addition, they are manufactured under strict nutritional manufacturing guidelines - compared to anything else I have seen, PLUS they are guaranteed to be 'Alergy Free'.

    Cons

I have not found anything that I dislike about them. What is to dislike?

I would recommend this item to a friend.

    Extremely Happy!!!

I absolutely believe Biotin 5000 by Allergy Research Group is superior to any Biotin I have tried - and I have tried many. My hair was thinning & quite a lot was falling out. I was tested by my medical doctor & no signs of any physiological problem was present. My daughter-in-law who is a holistic practitioner suggested that I use this product & it has made a vast improved to my hair. My hair thinning has decreased drastically & I decided to try other products (4 different ones over 3 months). After having my hair start thinning again, I have switched back and now recommend it to quite a few friends & family who are using it. I live in an upscale retirement community and a lot of women - even much younger ones are experiencing thinning hair and after using this product are extremely happy with the results. The recommended dose is up to two capsules daily, and I only use 1 because my Dermatologist said to take 5000 mg of biotin as well as my Sports Medicine Doctor. I also notice how much my nails have improved again.

    Pros

Everything as after doing much research, I know that Allergy Research Group uses NO preservatives, and uses the highest quality raw ingredients than any other I have seen. The encapsulated ingredients are extremely easy to swallow. I believe their pharmaceutical efficacy in manufacturing Biotin is superior to any that I have researched.

    Cons

I have not found or heard any negatives and there is absolutely nothing that I dislike!

I would recommend this item to a friend.

    Biotin

Biotin 5000 by Allergy Research Group is helpful to healthy hair and seems to be working. My hair is slowly being restored to shine and fullness. My hair doesn't shed 1/2 as much as before I started Biotin 5000 about 6 months ago.

    Pros

Great for hair and the price is great!

    Cons

There is nothing negative about this.
