Studies show that vitamin D levels also decline with age, which makes it all the more important to make sure you’re getting your recommended daily levels of this vitamin.

Large doses of vitamin D can cause hypercalcemia, signs include headache, weakness, nausea, vomiting, and constipation. Individuals with hyperparathyroidism or kidney disease are at particular risk. Vitamin D3 10,000 iu, Vitamin D3 5,000 iu and vitamin D3 1,000 iu are not to be taken by pregnant or lactating women. If pregnant or lactating, consult your physician before taking vitamin D3 400 iu

Are There Any Potential Drug Interactions? Vitamin D may result in hypercalcemia in certain individuals taking digoxin or thiazide diuretics. Consult your physician for more information.

We live in SE Alaska where we get very little sunshine, so Vitamin D supplementation is a must. We've been using Vitamin D3 Liquid for 2 years and it is the best we've found. Not only is it potent, it has no flavor whatsoever so it is a really great option for kids. My kids also think its a blast to take. One other note: the best price and service we've found for Vitamin D3 Liquid is through Pure Formulas, especially with their shipping policy.

Gentle on both palate and stomach. My children and I all take this, and we all enjoy it. This is virtually tasteless. I think it taste just like water. I've had friends complain that their *other* liquid Vit D drops are oily and yucky. This one is wonderful.

I was told by my Dr to try this to improve my Vitamin D level. It increased my D to a normal range. It worked so well I had my Sister try it who was prescribed a weekly larger dose. Her levels were so good her Dr was interested in learning about your site which I will pass along to her. I have given to my Daughter, also with very low levels that was prescribed the larger 50,000 units (I think it was units) once aweek and the liquid brought her levels to normal range. It really works well.
