Psyllium Husk Powder comes from the finest source in India. Metabolic Maintenance have selected the fine grade for better solubility and compliance. Psyllium Husk is a natural bulking agent and can be used daily for regularity and with Detox protocols. Psyllium may also be a useful adjunct as a weight loss and weight management tactic, as 4 grams of psyllium has been shown to suppress the secretion of a gut peptide called ghrelin, which has been shown to stimulate appetite and reduce satiation following a meal. I have been using this product to help combat bowel issues, it has worked wonders. I used to have alot of trouble with pastey nasty stools that dont wipe clean and now that problem is gone! Also great as an add on to my cholestrol lowering supplementation! I try to use at least one scoop in water at least once a day and sometimes twice a day . Works excellently.
