  • Protein is more than meets the eye: it's actually formed by 20 amino acids. Essential amino acids are the ones you need to get from outside sources like foods or supplements‚ since the human body is unable to manufacture them naturally. They work to balance the levels of fluid in your body‚ repair cells‚ and produce enzymes while promoting energy metabolism.

Amino acid supplements can also support you before‚ during‚ and after a strenuous workout. After intense resistance exercise‚ intake of essential amino acids may support the healthy synthesis of muscle proteins and promote recovery. This may be because amino acids give you a form of nitrogen that's readily available for your body to utilize; nitrogen is an important element that may help form creatine and neurotransmitter compounds.

The elderly may also experience benefits from an essential amino acid supplement. Such supplements can promote anabolic processes in the muscles‚ including the maintenance of muscle mass.

For best results‚ your intake of amino acids has to be in certain ratios‚ which is difficult if you don't consume meat daily. Pure Encapsulations' Essential Aminos has been formulated to ensure that it has ratios similar to those found in high biological value proteins. Each capsule provides eight essential free-form amino acids: l-histidine‚ l-isoleucine‚ l-leucine‚ l-lysine HCl‚ l-methionine‚ l-phenylalanine‚ l-threonine‚ and l-valine. This supplement also contains vitamin C in order to further promote effective absorption.

Take one to three vegetable capsules daily‚ in divided doses between meals. At the recommended dosage‚ each 180-capsule bottle of Essential Aminos by Pure Encapsulations should last for about three to six months.

Pure Encapsulations seeks to formulate and manufacture high-quality‚ hypoallergenic dietary supplements. Quality control during the formulation and manufacturing process is paramount. All Pure Encapsulations products are made with the most bioavailable ingredients possible.

Are There Any Potential Side Effects Or Precautions?
If pregnant or lactating‚ consult your physician before taking this product. People with phenylketonuria must avoid phenylalanine. Some research suggests that tardive dyskinesia patients may process phenylalanine abnormally. Until more is known‚ it makes sense for people with this condition to avoid phenylalanine supplementation. Individuals with kidney or liver disease should not consume high intakes of amino acids without consulting their doctor.

Are There Any Potential Drug Interactions?
At this time‚ there are no known adverse reactions when taken in conjunction with medications.
