Warm Banana Nut Ice Cream Topping

Warm, sweet, crunchy, and super good! Caramelized bananas are the perfect topping for your ice cream. This easy topping recipe is made with bananas, nuts, and cinnamon.

Ingredients:


  • 1 caramelized banana
  • 1 tsp cinnamon cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp of coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp soy milk (add more if needed)
  • 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • Hand chopped nuts (almonds, pecans, or peanuts)
  • Ice cream (your favorite flavor)

Directions:


Peanut Sauce:

  1. In a small bowl, add milk, vanilla extract, and peanut butter powder.
  2. Mix it with a spoon until it is all incorporated.


Caramelized Bananas:

  1. Slice a ripe banana diagonally.
  2. In a bowl, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the bananas; mix to coat them.
  3. Melt coconut oil over medium-high heat in a pan. Add in banana slices once the oil has melted.
  4. Cook banana slices for 2-3 minutes per side. Let them brown.
  5. Serve over ice cream immediately while they're warm!


Assembly:

  1. Scoop ice cream into a bowl.
  2. Pour the peanut sauce over it.
  3. Add the caramelized banana.
  4. Add chopped nuts on top, and enjoy!
