Ingredients:
Pasta:
- Gluten-free pasta of choice
- Olive oil
- Salt
Homemade tomato sauce:
- 4 organic tomatoes, cubed
- 1/2 small onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp of oregano
- 1/2 tsp of basil
- 1/2 tsp of thyme
- 1/2 tsp of parsley
- 1/2 tsp of rosemary
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Eyeballs:
- String cheese
- Black olives
- Straw
Directions:
For tomato sauce:
- In a medium pan with lid, place all ingredients for tomato sauce, add olive oil, and cover with a lid to allow ingredients to cook until tomatoes soften and turn into a paste.
For pasta:
- Cook pasta according to instructions on box.
For eyeballs:
- Slice string cheese.
- Cut the olives in half lengthwise.
- Using the straws, cut circles in the cheese slices and place olive piece to make the eyes.
Assemble:
- Drizzle olive oil to taste once the dish is assembled.
