Blackberry Peppermint Mixed Drink

Combine the digestive benefits of peppermint tea with a blend of antioxidants from blackberries and a splash of vitamin C from the lemons in this delicious and refreshing drink.

Ingredients:


  • ⅔ cup blackberries
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 peppermint tea bags
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 cups seltzer
  • ½ cup water (to make peppermint tea)

Directions:


  1. Make the tea by boiling ½ cup water and placing the 2 peppermint tea bags in boiling water. Follow suggested tea brewing directions. Note: For stronger flavor, let the tea brew for a little longer. Allow the tea to cool.
  2. In a shaker, mix in blackberries, lemon juice, honey, and peppermint tea; strain into serving glasses.
  3. To each serving glass, add about 1 cup of seltzer and top with ½ tsp chia seeds.
