Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened apple sauce
- 1/2 cup of almond butter
- 1/4 cup of coconut flour
- 3-4 tbsp of honey
- 1/2 tbsp of cinnamon
- 1/2 tbsp of nutmeg
- 1 tbsp of coconut sugar
- Vanilla Greek yogurt (if going paleo, use a non-dairy yogurt)
- 1 apple
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond butter, applesauce, coconut flour, spices and the honey. Mix very well until you get a thick batter.
- Dice the apple, and add it to the mix.
- Transfer to a greased mini muffin tin and sprinkle the coconut palm sugar on top to create a crust. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Set aside to cool down. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours before cutting it into small bites.
- Use yogurt and fruits for toppings.
