This specially-formulated blend of probiotics is designed to help girls and women maintain a healthy genitourinary system, by supporting the natural microflora that inhabits this area. Ther-Biotic® Women's Formula contains seven Lactobacillus species and three Bifidobacterium species known for promoting normal vaginal flora, balancing out pH levels through lactic acid production while hindering potential colonization from bacteria or yeast. This high potency mix also has two powerful species – Lactobacillus acidophilus & rhamnosus – that produce hydrogen peroxide which inhibits harmful pathogens whilst restoring optimal gentle pH in sensitive areas! Several species of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium are naturally located within the vaginal microflora. This bacteria produces lactic acid to create a healthy, balanced environment that makes it difficult for pathogenic microbes such as E.Coli or Candida albicans to colonize the reproductive tract while allowing native lactabcillus populations thrive.
