Some people like the convenience of a seasoning with salt in it. However‚ salt is cheap. Pure Indian Foods don't want to decrease the overall value to you as the customer by adding salt. Adding salt means less of everything else in the same bottle. They wanted to increase the value to you by leaving out salt.
Secondly‚ they figured you have your own favorite salt. Even here at the company‚ they have employees who prefer sea salt‚ while others prefer Himalayan Pink Salt. They didn't want to choose your salt preference for you.
