  • People from all walks of life may need a convenient source of protein. Fortunately‚ WheyBasics Vanilla Bean by Pure Encapsulations is here to support sports nutrition‚ weight management‚ and overall wellness as part of your daily lifestyle.

Every scoop of WheyBasics Vanilla Bean provides 21 grams of high-quality whey protein that's low fat and low in lactose. This whey isolate contains natural sweeteners and flavors‚ and is easy to mix due to being instantized. Athletes may particularly benefit from the 4.75 grams of branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) in this powder; this includes two grams of l-leucine.

To support a healthy immune system‚ WheyBasics Vanilla Bean also provides lactoferrin and immunoglobulins. Immunoglobulins are antibodies that can fight off potentially harmful elements. Lactoferrin‚ meanwhile‚ is a glycoprotein that may provide an additional immunity boost.

Mix or blend one scoop with water‚ milk or juice--as well as fruit to make a smoothie. Each container of Pure Encapsulations' WheyBasics Vanilla Bean contains 18 servings of whey protein powder.

I see that the whey powder has stevia but under allergy / dietary needs it says artificial sweetener free. Just need to know for sure whether or not stevia is considered an artificial sweetener and if in fact it's in this whey powder. Thank you

    • Raisa on 8/29/2014

Hello Christey, thank you for contacting PureFormulas. Whey Basics Vanilla Bean does contain stevia. However, this is a sweetener that comes from a plant so it is not considered an artificial sweetener.
