Ultra EFA for Dogs and Cats by Rx Vitamins for Pets is a liquid supplement that provides your pet with essential fatty acids.

First‚ this Rx Vitamins for Pets supplement provides 500 milligrams of sunflower oil per serving. Notably‚ sunflower oil is a good source of linoleic acid‚ which is a fatty acid that could potentially act to maintain a healthy-looking coat.

In addition‚ every teaspoon of Ultra EFA for Dogs and Cats also contains 280 milligrams of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and 180 milligrams of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) derived from fish oil. Markedly‚ these omega-3 fatty acids may have mild anti-inflammatory properties‚ which means that they might work to address certain symptoms associated with minor joint pain or stiffness. As a result‚ Ultra EFA for Dogs and Cats may help your furry friend stay active.

Each bottle of Rx Vitamins for Pets’ Ultra EFA for Dogs and Cats contains 16 fluid ounces of solution. The recommended serving size is one-fourth of a teaspoon for every 15 pounds of body weight; give your pet two servings daily.

Kitty is OK with the taste

      from NEWBERG OR on 5/25/2018
I thought Ultra EFA for Pets (Dogs and Cats) by Rx Vitamins was quite expensive but looking at the dose, this 16oz bottle will last quite a while. My cat seems to be ok with the taste even though she ate around it for awhile. My cat eats a high quality cat food all ready so I do not see any difference in her coat. I am hoping it's helping her 16 years old bones and joints.

    • Miracle Worker!

      from Indianapolis on 4/10/2017
My dogs had been diagnosed with Walking Dandruff skin mites. Between all their baths, lime sulphur dips, and trauma to their skin from the mites they had tons of dandruff even tho they were cleared from the mites on a few different occasions. I had them rechecked to make sure the dandruff wasn't the mites (their entire coats were covered with the flakes!) and was prescribed Ultra EFA for Pets (Dogs and Cats) by Rx Vitamins for the dogs. I was hesitant at first cause we have been given sprays and soaks and everything already and within about 2 days I have noticed a HUGE change in their coats. Today (4 days later) I am having an extremely hard time finding any dandruff on them. This stuff is amazing. The itching has also stopped. Thank you for this product!

Dogs seem to love it! I was told to add it to their food or plain if they will take it and they both take it plain and their picky! It really works too! The price is a bit high but for the quality and for it to actually work on our dogs that isn't even a problem.

      Everything is perfect!

Ultra EFA for Pets (Dogs and Cats) by Rx Vitamins product has completely transformed my cane corso. Her coat has improved and her dry skin has gone away.

Easy to use. Just top dress dry food. No refrigeration needed.

    • Helped with dry & flaky skin.

      from Martha's Vineyard on 2/07/2016
Hunter, my chocolate lab mix puppy was experiencing discomfort due to dry and flaky skin. I took him to my vet and they recommended Ultra EFA for Pets by Rx Vitamins when it was time for more I ordered online. I bought the 8oz initially from the vet and it cost the SAME as the 16oz online!

Easy to use Improved dogs coat & skin.

Slightly messy, it's oil. I recommend always have a napkin in hand after you measure the amount, wipe the top so it doesn't drop down the side of the bottle.

My Boxer was having seizures, and her vet was pretty sure it was epilepsy. She was already on a grain free limited ingredient diet, but before putting her on pills, he wanted us to give Ultra EFA for Pets by Rx Vitamins a try for the lecithin it provides. Since using this, she has not had any seizures. Bonus is that her coat looks great and she loves the taste!

    • Recommended by my Veterinarian.

      from Smyrna Georgia on 7/15/2015
Ultra EFA for Pets by Rx Vitamins was originally given to my pet by my veterinarian whom I trust implicitly. My beloved dog has cancer and needs as much nutritional support that he can get. He is doing quite well on this supplement and I am now giving it to all of my pets and I am grateful for it!

Easy to administer. Dogs seem to love it. No upset stomach.

Our vet said that even though the directions say to refrigerate you don't have to. That way it does not get too thick to use. It must be shaken a lot so the ingredients mix together well and comes out like a yellow cream not clear liquid. The vet suggested we use this product for allergies & I am not sure it helps but I am happy to learn that others feel it does.

Giving my dog a healthy supplement

      A bit messy to use

      from Holland, MI on 11/15/2014
Came quickly and packaged so that there was no chance of damage to the product.

This item helps with itching skin.

It needs to be refrigerated after opening and gets too thick when it starts to get low.

    • Great Pet product

      from California on 10/05/2014
Ultra EFA for Pets by RX Vitamins is the most potent source of fish oils out there. I gave it to our 13 year-old Lab to help with arthritis, but then couldn't believe the difference in her coat.

Thick liquid, good taste for the dogs and covers up pills well, so that she will take her pills.

When refrigerated, sometimes gets too thick to get the last bit out of the bottle.
