Herb Pharm’s Thyme Extract could potentially work to maintain the optimal functioning of your respiratory tract. For example‚ it may fight off mild inflammation in your respiratory passages‚ which may help address symptoms such as shortness of breath. Thyme may also act to lessen the severity of coughs due to its gentle antispasmodic effect.

Furthermore‚ thyme extract might play a role in stimulating immune function. As a result‚ this supplement may help address certain symptoms associated with the common cold as well as other upper respiratory infections.

One of the active compounds in thyme extract is thymol‚ which may have mild antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. In addition‚ thymol may work to protect cells throughout your body from free radical damage by serving as an antioxidant.

Each bottle of Thyme Extract by Herb Pharm contains one fluid ounce of solution. This supplement is prepared with flowers and leaves that have been harvested by hand from organically grown thyme (thymus vulgaris) plants.

      Relieves depression

      from FL on 1/29/2019
I ordered this Thyme by Herb Pharm to reduce depression without chemicals. I ordered liquid to have it absorb faster. Easy to carry with you so that you can take with water wherever you go. I feel that people can follow the instructional guide line and boost it up if they need more. I have also used powdered. It is important to be consistent in order for it to work. Therefore, it is good to order extra in order not to run out. I would give it 5 stars but the bottle size quantity is too small for as often as one needs to continue to take it or needing to boost it up due to excessive depression from life's trials.

      Easy and quick to take.

The bottle is rather small therefore it runs out fast.

    • Sinus relief!

      from Washington on 1/15/2016
With everyone around me, including family members, sick with colds, I decided to follow some advice I'd received months ago: to combat sinus congestion by inhaling steam with Thyme by Herb Pharm in it. I know thyme is used as a natural disinfectant so I thought there was a sound basis for this advice. Inhaling steam with thyme every evening clears my sinuses and so far I have not really come down with any of the upper respiratory infections going around.

Relieves a stuffy nose and may have kept me from coming down with the universal cold.

If I add too much thyme, it actually stings my sinuses--and be sure to keep eyes closed!
