      I am 51 years old, 5'11" and 180lbs. My family eats (mostly) healthy, distill our own water and have a semi-active life. (My job has me on my feet every day.) The only meds/supplements I take daily are: Armour for my thyroid, 400 mg Magnesium Glycinate, 50 mg Zinc and B12 injections. I have been treated naturally for my low thyroid since 2013. As I have been stepping down on the Armour, my doctor told me to purchase Gaia Rhodiola Rosea and take one at 7am and the other at 11am every day. I started taking them on Tuesday, January 14th. That night, I slept all through the night - not even having to get up to go to the bathroom! Since then, I cannot remember waking up during the night. I was waking up at least once every night and I thought it was because I had to go to the bathroom, so I would get up and go, but, now that I am sleeping all through the night, I guess that wasn't it. I can think clearer and I am not exhausted at the end of each day like I was. This Rhodiola Rosea has improved my sleep and mental function so much - I wish I would have taken it years ago! I haven't had any negative side effects. One good side effect is that I do not need my B12 injection every week. Since taking the Rhodiola Rosea, I have been able to go longer without the injection and have been averaging 2 weeks between each injection. Growing older doesn't mean no sleep. If you're having problems sleeping at night, I highly recommend you research Rhodiola Rosea and see if you can work it into your regimen. I bet you'll be just like me and wish you would have started it sooner!

      I take Rhodiola Rosea by Gaia Herbs on the suggestion of my naturopath to help deal with chronic depression from Bipolar 2 disorder. I definitely notice an improvement in my moods since I started using it, and have no plans to discontinue. Pure Formulas has been the only place I've been able to find it online, too.
