These delicious Red Wine Sausage Bites are coated in a red wine and agave glaze. They're a super quick and easy appetizer perfect for holiday entertaining!

Ingredients:


  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 lb. sausage (any vegan sausage), sliced 1-inch thick
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2/3 cup red wine
  • 1/3 cup agave
  • A pinch of smoked paprika
  • A pinch of black pepper

Directions:


  1. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the sausage and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the garlic, red wine, agave, a pinch of smoked paprika, and black pepper to the pan. Bring the pan to a boil and continue to boil until the liquid reduces to a glaze for about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Serve with toothpicks and enjoy!
