- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 tbsp. hemp seeds
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups orange juice
Directions:
- Remove the stems and leaves, and cut the beets into quarters.
- Cut the ends of the carrots, and chop them into smaller pieces.
- Boil the carrots and beets for 30 minutes to get them soft.
- Peel the skin off of the beets with a steak knife.
- Add half of the beets and half of the carrots to a blender (working in 2 batches).
- Pour 2 cups of water into your blender (use the water that was left over from the boiled beets!).
- Add 1/2 banana to the blender.
- Add turmeric, ginger, cinnamon powder, hemp seeds, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and leaves to the blender.
- Blend well.
- Pour half of the liquid into a jug (2 ½-3 liter jug or an empty juice container will work).
- Pour 2 cups of orange juice into the blender.
- Add the rest of the beets, carrots, and half of the banana to the blender.
- Blend again.
- Pour the liquid into the jug, and shake it well to incorporate the liquids.
- Place it in the fridge to cool, and enjoy the juice in the morning! (Always give it a shake before pouring.)
