Ingredients:
- 2 cups raw pecans or nuts of choice
- 1/3 cup beer of choice
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
- Over medium-high heat, combine beer, maple syrup, salt, and pepper in a medium-sized pan. Mix ingredients, and allow the liquid to boil.
- Lower the heat, and add pecans, mixing well so the liquid coats them evenly.
- Transfer pecans to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Be careful not to add too much liquid to the tray.
- Place pecans in the oven for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven, stir with a spatula, and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes. Total baking time should be about 10 minutes.
- Let pecans cool, and enjoy!
