Cinnamon Flavored Cough Drops

Ingredients:


  • 1/2 cup honey (or raw honey)
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1 - 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • A spritz of freshly squeezed lemon or lemon juice

Directions:


  1. Mix coconut oil in a bowl with a hand mixer or a whisk until soft and fluffy.
  2. Add in the honey and cinnamon (or another spice of choice), and continue to whisk together until blended in.
  3. Add in the lemon juice.
  4. Pour the mixture into small silicone ice cube trays, and place in the freezer until frozen (about 20 min).
  5. Pop the cough drops from the tray, and refrigerate them in an airtight container.
  6. Use as needed to relieve a sore throat!
