Heart & blood vessel support
Helps maintain already normal blood pressure
Promotes energy production in cells
Q-Kinase features the nutrient duo of co-enzyme Q10 (CoQ10) and nattokinase‚ both contributing unique attributes to support the heart and enhance circulatory health. CoQ10 is necessary for energy generation from cellular mitochondria‚ and heart muscle fibers have the highest density of mitochondria and highest CoQ10 concentration of any tissue. Nattokinase is an enzyme derived from “natto‚” a fermented soy food popular in Japan for centuries. The protein-digesting activity of nattokinase together with the versatile bioenergetic and antioxidant properties of CoQ10 provides an unparalleled approach to cardiovascular health.
Enhances cardiovascular health
Supports heart and endothelial function
The highest concentration of Coenzyme Q10 is found in heart muscle tissue due to the heart’s extraordinary energy requirements. Sufficiency of CoQ10 facilitates the heart’s intense energy consumption by enabling the mitochondria—our cellular powerhouses—to maintain their ATP production at optimal levels. Maintenance of normal energy utilization and supply is crucial for maintaining any cell’s life processes. Based on results from clinical studies‚ researchers have concluded that for various segments of the population‚ CoQ10 supplementation can help ATP production needed to maintain wellbeing.
Coenzyme Q10 promotes cardiovascular health in part by confronting oxidative stress—that state in which oxidative “free radical” processes threaten to exceed antioxidant protection. A versatile antioxidant‚ CoQ10 works in conjunction with both vitamin E and vitamin C to help protect then entire cell against free radical damage. Such integrated antioxidant activity also enhances the structural integrity of lipids in cell membranes and in the blood‚ consequently supporting healthy blood vessels and circulation. In a case-control study of 153 individuals‚ higher blood CoQ10 concentrations were associated with superior cardiovascular health.
Maintenance of healthy endothelia (the thin single layer of cells that line the inner surface of blood vessel walls) is crucial for maintenance of already healthy blood pressure and for overall health. CoQ10’s ability to help protect the endothelial messenger nitric oxide against oxidation has been linked to its capacity to enhance endothelial function. A meta-analysis of five randomized‚ double blind‚ placebo-controlled trials with CoQ10 on endothelial function concluded it had a significant effect on healthy circulation‚ as measured by flow-mediated dilation.
Helps maintain blood pressure already in the normal range
Supports healthy circulation
The nattokinase in this formulation is proven from human and corroborative animal studies to support various aspects of the cardiovascular system. In a randomized‚ double blind‚ placebo-controlled trial‚ 86 men and women (ages 20–80) received one capsule per day for 8 weeks containing either nattokinase (at a dose of 2‚000 fibrinolytic activity units) or placebo. Compared to placebo‚ nattokinase significantly helped maintain a healthy blood pressure. Research in rats not only confirmed this effect but also demonstrated that nattokinase can retain its protease activity after intestinal absorption.
Other types of research advance the notion that nattokinase can help maintain circulatory and vascular health. In an early small human trial‚ both the natto food and the nattokinase enzyme were administered (soybeans were used as a control)‚ and various features of protease activity were measured in the bloodstream. The researchers concluded natto and nattokinase significantly improved certain physiologic markers‚ which taken together suggest it helps maintain healthy blood circulation.
More recently‚ an analysis of markers in blood drawn from healthy adults found that nattokinase produced a significant‚ dose-dependent effect that suggests practicality in helping with maintenance of healthy blood flow. These effects could be achieved using doses of nattokinase that produced blood concentrations similar to doses that produced benefits in in animal studies.
Helps replenish losses from statins
Many widely used statin drugs that are taken to alter cholesterol levels also have an unfortunate nutritional side effect: they deplete the body’s CoQ10 by blocking the body’s usual pathways for its synthesis. Supplemental CoQ10 can be taken in anticipation of this particular drawback‚ with benefits from 30 days of CoQ10 supplementation seen in a randomized‚ blinded trial that investigated effects on undesirable attributes of statin-induced disruptions.
Supports immune system performance
Immune cells are among the most metabolically active cells in the body‚ and accordingly have relatively large requirements for CoQ10. Older randomized controlled trials corroborated by recent ones suggest that supplementing with CoQ10 can promote a healthy immune response. The pioneering CoQ10 researcher Karl Folkers and his colleagues found that CoQ10 supplementation increased IgG antibody and CD4 T-lymphocyte (“helper cell”) counts in healthy subjects.
Other immune cells (“phagocytes”‚ “killer cells”) use CoQ10 both to help maintain their needed mobility and to generate free radicals directed against their prey. That is‚ some of these cells re-direct the same CoQ10 electron transfer properties normally used to make energy‚ into generating free radicals directed against their targets. An Italian study of subjects aged over 90 found that natural killer cell performance was superior in subjects with the best CoQ10 status. CoQ10 supplementation may be especially beneficial starting in middle age‚ since its levels steadily decline after the age of 40.
This Q+Kinase combination of the versatile nutrient Coenzyme Q10 and the potent nattokinase enzyme is indicated for anyone who desires to support their heart and circulation‚ along with all their other organ systems‚ against oxidative stress or simply against the ravages of time.

Overall Rating for Q+ Kinase 30 Veggie Caps

Good combination but what about absorpti
Its a good circulation combination but as I have read Natto is taken between meals while CoQ10 must be taken with meals. So I dont know how effective it is to rake it on an empty stomach.
