Pregnenolone is an endogenous steroid and precursor/metabolic intermediate in the biosynthesis of most of the steroid hormones‚ including the progestogens‚ androgens‚ estrogens‚ glucocorticoids‚ and mineralocorticoids. In addition‚ pregnenolone is biologically active as a neurosteroid. Pregnenolone levels drop dramatically after age 30. Research indicates that restoration of pregnenolone to the levels of healthy young adults may have a positive effect on memory‚ mood‚ and energy.

  My doctor recommended pregnenolone several years ago to help balance hormones and protect my brain health. He said I needed to take it the rest of my life. He said it needed to be a quality brand and this is one of his recommendations, so I did my research and found this to be my choice. I have been very pleased with the results and quality.

  This is a very small capsule, which is great for those who either have trouble with larger capsules or those who take many supplements. The pregnenolone is in a highly absorbable form with only one additive, so it is not full of fillers.
