  • When pain hits‚ the natural instinct is to reduce that pain as quickly as possible. When‚ specifically‚ you get an insect bite‚ your first reaction would probably be to attempt to scratch it. You know that by scratching the insect bite it won’t go away‚ alternatively‚ after scratching it‚ the pain may even increase. But the body clearly has a defense mechanism for lowering pain‚ and some may sacrifice a more intense pain from an insect bite in the long-term for a moment or two of genuine‚ short-term relief after scratching.

Ledum palustre by Boiron contains pellets that may contribute to your overall well-being and may support relief to insect bites. Ledum palustre is also known by several other names‚ including its scientific name‚ Rhododendron tomentosum. It has also been referred to as Marsh Labrador tea‚ northern Labrador tea‚ and wild rosemary. It is a flowering plant‚ part of the family Ericaceae‚ which grows as a low shrub. Ladum palustre carries small flowers that contain both male and female organs‚ and white five-lobed petals. Its location range includes Northern Europe from Scandinavia south and east to Germany and Japan. It may be native to Britain‚ from ancient bogs. The plant has been known to emit strong smells that attract bees and other pollinating insects.

Ledum palustre has long been used in homeopathic medicine. One characteristic taken from it is its amelioration from cold. It also may have support effects for insect bites‚ as well as for wounds and inner body workings. This formula also contains inactive forms of lactose and sucrose. Lactose‚ a disaccharide sugar‚ is also found in milk. Sucrose‚ also known as table sugar‚ is the organic compound that is most recognizable in its white‚ sweet‚ crystalline powder.

Each bottle of Ledum palustre by Boiron contains approximately 80 pellets. Adults and children should dissolve 5 pellets in the mouth 3 times daily until symptoms become relieved‚ or as directed.

Boiron is a world leader in homeopathic medicines who believes that there's a better way to feel good that can work naturally with your body. By creating top-quality and safe products since 1932‚ Boiron is committed to the passion of your total health‚ and promises complete satisfaction.

    Not for mirgellons patients.

Ledum Palustre by Boiron it's supposed to help treat Lyme disease in your pet. Which I am sure it does that. However, I have been battling morgellons disease which is suggested by some to be advanced late stage Lyme disease in people. After painful itching and swelling from the organisms that crawl around the skin and tissue. I noticed no change in my condition taking this product. I will say this product is easy to take and was worth the try. Shipping was fast and the prices were fantastic. I'm going to recommend for confirmed Lyme disease only not for morgellons.

    Pros

      Easy to take.

    Cons

      Not effective against morgellons disease.

    Great product!

My 12 year old German Shepherd got Lyme disease. I searched on-line for a holistic treatment and found a holistic Vets. website. His site said to give one Ledum Palustre 1m pellet three time a day for three days. It sounded to good to be true, but I tried it anyway. He couldn't even get up on his own before the first day. After the third day he not only got up, he could run a little. It's been several weeks since I treated him and he's been perfect. I was truly amazed at how well it worked for him.

    Pros

The price was very reasonable, the shipping and delivery was very fast, and it took care of my dogs Lyme disease!

    Cons

Nothing, at least for me, it was a wonderful product!

    Great stuff

This item was great. I used it to treat Lyme disease in our two dogs. They could hardly walk. After one day of treatment they both responded amazingly. They were up and moving and by day three they were their active selves again. I am sold on this product and will share my story with others often.

    an emergency mainstay

have this on hand at home and when you travel for puncture wounds and bites (wash wound with ledum tincture as well). A possible life saver. Start using as soon as possible after the injury. The sooner you use it the quicker the recovery or even prevention of bruising and complications. High potencies like this for emegencies. Homeopathic remedies are a gift! Remember what Thomas Moore says in The Tao of Elvis “... we need spirit not held at a distance... but closer to our everyday souls...”

My large German Shepherd 7 month old puppy has contracted Lyme. He is currently on Doxy for a month. I'd like to start Ledum. Should I wait until we are done with the antibiotic. His lameness is going from the front left to front right. I don't want to keep giving him Rimadyl.
