Iron is an essential mineral for several reasons. It is involved in the production of hemoglobin and myoglobin‚ which are found in red blood cells and muscle cells‚ respectively. Both are involved in transporting oxygen and carbon dioxide throughout the blood stream and to the parts of the body where they are needed. Oxygen can help provide your body with energy.
Red meat is a good source of iron‚ but you may need additional supplementation if you don't consume it often. Instead of having to swallow pills‚ Pure Encapsulations' Iron Liquid serves as another source of this mineral.
Iron Liquid contains a unique form of iron‚ SunActive® Fe‚ with increased bioavailability. SunActive® Fe has been derived from lime rock while being both micronized and water-soluble‚ with smaller molecules that make it easier to absorb.
Women may especially benefit from Iron Liquid‚ since they are often at risk for anemia (iron deficiency). The menstrual blood that leaves the body on a monthly basis takes iron with it. This supplement may boost your levels of ferritin‚ tranferrin‚ and hemoglobin saturation. Ferritin is a protein within the cells that stores and releases iron.
Finally‚ every serving of Iron Liquid contains CranBlue‚ a proprietary blend of cranberry and wild blueberry extracts. CranBlue may provide antioxidants that work to protect your cells from potentially harmful free radicals. It can also support the microvascular system‚ which encompasses the smallest circulatory vessels (like the capillaries).
Take one or two one-teaspoon servings daily‚ in divided doses with meals. At the recommended serving size‚ each four-ounce bottle of Iron Liquid by Pure Encapsulations should last from 12 to 24 days.
Pure Encapsulations seeks to formulate and manufacture high-quality‚ hypoallergenic dietary supplements. Quality control during the formulation and manufacturing process is paramount. All Pure Encapsulations products are made with the most bioavailable ingredients possible.

Hi! I have low-normal Iron levels but a Ferritin level of 13. I've been complaining to doc about fatigue, weakness, RLS, etc. I also have Hashimoto's (levels are controlled) so I think since low Ferritin is common with Hashis then, he didn't give it much care. But, I'm symptomatic! Will taking Iron Liquid address low Ferritin? I know ferritin is a protein not iron itself, so I wasn't sure if "throwing Iron at it" especially with Hashimoto's, is a valid remedy? THANKS!A
