Thank you for amazing customer service!

Great product so far. I initially ordered it from the Amazon and, after waiting for 7 days for it to be shipped, decided to cancel and look elsewhere. Then I remembered having a very positive experience with my first order from PureFormulas and decided to come here again and I am very glad that I did. I placed my order on Thursday and received it on Saturday. Wow! Thanks so much! Next time I'll look here first and hope that you carry what I need.

    Pros

My teenage son was diagnosed with low levels of vitamin D, despite of spending a lot of time outdoors. So I decided to try the cod fish Norwegian Cod Liver Oil by Carlson. Now we have to wait and see if it will fix the problem. The taste of it is so good that him and his 12 year old sister take it without fuss.

    Cons

      Nothing.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

    Great alternative to the "expensive".

We used to take Carlson Lemon CLO years ago when we started working on healing teeth (my husband and three of my four children who have very weak baby teeth). About four years ago we made the expensive switch to Green Pastures Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil/Butter Oil Blend. However, several months ago I decided that when it came time to reorder, I wanted to re explore my options because the Green Pastures products were no longer fitting easily into our budget. After debating between Nordic Naturals and Carlson, I went with Carlson based on a breakdown of its vitamin content and cost per serving. From what I found, Carlson's has a cost per serving of $.35, Vitamin D IU?s: 400, Vitamin A IU?s: 850, VitD/VitA Ratio: 1:2. That is compared to the Green Pastures product we were taking, which was a cost per serving of $.61, 975 IU?s Vitamin D, 4750 IU?s Vitamin A, VitD/VitA Ratio: 1:5. Because the vitamin D content of GP's has recently been challenged (though I don't have any strong feelings on it, personally), and because we supplement with an emulsified vitamin D drop anyway because of where we live, I didn't feel like the difference in vitamin D was much of a loss when going with Carlson, and as for vitamin A, that is one we actually do quite well with in our diet, so again, not a big concern. So all that said, the people who this really matters for are the ones who are pickiest about the flavor! My little ones had been used to taking GP's chocolate cream gel, so I was a little concerned about switching them back to a liquid, no matter what the flavor! However, the first time they took the lemon flavor, I was so pleased with their reactions. I heard "It doesn't taste like anything!" and "I like it!" enough to convince me that Norwegian Cod Liver Oil by Carlson Labs is definitely the way we will go from here on out. Saves me money and we no longer have any whining about having to take our cod liver oil!!

Great tasting and great quality at a reasonable price. I have used Norwegian Cod Liver Oil Lemon Flavor for the last ten years and my husband and I both would not be without it. I was even able to get my kids to take it which shows what a mild taste it has.
