- Whisk 1 cup mix (2 Servings) with 2/3 cup cold water until well blended. Let sit for 3 minutes while griddle warms up. (Batter thickens as it sits).
- Heat griddle to low heat (285-295°F).
- Pour batter into 3-4 four inch pancakes on lightly greased‚ pre-heated griddle.
- Cook until no more bubbles are forming in the center and edges look dry. (About 3 minutes.) Flip and cook until golden brown.
For Thinner Pancakes: Add 1-2 tablespoons of water until a desired consistency is reached.
Make it your own: Add chocolate chips‚ fruit‚ nuts or whatever you like to make it your own.
Want More Protein?
For 25 Grams of Protein: Reduce water by 2 tablespoons and add 1 large egg or replace water with fat free milk.
For 34 Grams of Protein: Replace water with fat free milk‚ reducing liquid by 2 tablespoons and add 1 large egg.
- 1-1/4 cup cinnamon apple mix.
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
- 1 large egg.
- 1/2 cup skim milk.
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt.
- 1/4 cup applesauce.
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar.
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Mix first 6 ingredients until blended.
- Dollop batter into a greased doughnut pan. Fill pan to the center but don't cover. Makes 9 doughnuts.
- Bake 13-15 minutes. Let cool.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a zipper bag. Shake doughnuts in the mixture.
Whisk 1 cup mix (2 servings)‚ 1 egg and 1/2 cup cold water until well blended. Let sit for 3 minutes while waffle iron heats up.
