Herb Pharm’s Bloodroot Extract contains an herb called bloodroot (sanguinaria canadensis) that might work to support general health in several ways.
For example‚ bloodroot extract may serve as a mild expectorant; as a result‚ it may work to clear accumulated mucus from the respiratory tract. In addition‚ bloodroot may help address other symptoms associated with mild upper respiratory infections due to its antispasmodic properties.
Bloodroot may also work to alleviate some minor symptoms of gastric upset‚ since its rhizomes might inhibit the growth of H. pylori. H. pylori is a form of bacteria that could potentially lead to gastritis (inflammation of the stomach’s inner lining) or a peptic ulcer.
Last‚ this herb may play a role in discouraging bacteria from forming plaque on your teeth. For this reason‚ bloodroot extract is used as an ingredient in many toothpastes and mouthwashes.
Each bottle of Bloodroot Extract by Herb Pharm contains one fluid ounce of solution. This product is prepared with the hand-harvested rhizomes of organically grown sanguinaria canadensis plants.

A Supplement Worth Doing the Research On
Bloodroot by Herb Pharm has a number of beneficial uses. I use it in a concentrated form in a topical skin care application due to its anti-cancer properties. I plan on adding as a proactive supplement for my oral regimen as well. I have used it for years and have had very good results.
