B-12 1000 mcg (Cherry) – 50 Micro-Lozenges from Nature Made® is a supplement that increases your intake of the important vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is mostly present in the liver.
Vitamin B12‚ available in this supplement from Nature Made® requires a certain amount of gastric acid and intrinsic factor to bind with and help its absorption. Research shows that inadequate vitamin B12 in the body may be common in older age as gastric acid and intrinsic factors levels are normally low in such people. Vegetarians may also have a low intake of this vitamin in their diet.
Vitamin B12 may play a key role in many critical activities in the body like cell reproduction‚ more importantly red blood cells. It aids the nervous system by safeguarding the myelin sheath surrounding nerves.
Studies indicate that vitamin B12 could assist in generation of energy from the diet. It helps the body in formation of DNA and RNA‚ the genetic material inside your cells. Vitamin B12 may also improve immune health and help keep homocysteine levels under check that could lead to a healthy heart. Get B-12 1000 mcg (Cherry) – 50 Micro-Lozenges from Nature Made®.
