    Horrible Scalp Break-out!

NOT FOR SENSITIVE OR ACNE PRONE SKIN! Ive determined after using this shampoo that I am highly allergic to SLS or possibly lavender or fragrance. The second ingredient of this shampoo is (Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate). I just assumed since it was a Jason product that it would not contain the harmful SLS and parabens. None-the-less my scalp broke out with painful cystic type bumps as did my forehead around the hairline and eyebrows. Even my husband commented that the shampoo smelled very strong and he thought it was a medicated shampoo! Ive stopped using this shampoo and my break-outs are slowly healing but it took me a while to make the connection so the damage is pretty severe and is taking a long time to heal. I read on eHow that many people are allergic to SLS and other ingredients along with natural ingredients such as lavender chamomile rose oil and fragrances. Not sure which ingredient in this Jason Lavender shampoo is the culprit but it wrecked havoc on my scalp! BUYER BEWARE IF YOU KNOW YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN!

    Pros

    Cons

Harsh on skin causes severe break-outs smells terrible! etc etc etc.

    leaves residue on hair

After a few uses using the shampoo and matching conditioner the hair becomes cardboard like. I think it leaves a residue instead of just adding moisture.
