Try an Earthy Soup!!
January 29, 2014
As recommended by the manufacturers, I tried sprinkling some of this powder onto soups, with mixed results. In thick and heavy soups, such as green pea soup, it tends to lump up a bit, and then you get chunks of "spicy balls" in what should be smooth soup. But in clear broth (even with some veg/chicken/beef/meat pieces), it was quite wonderful, and added a slight spicyness to otherwise fairly bland soup--the omega seeds (flax and chia) and spices such as sage, paprika, chili mixing up as seasonings. You could just put a quarter teaspoon of the stuff in a cup or small bowl of soup to get a healthy superfoods addition, but the soup should not be extremely hot, in my opinion, but warm-to-hot otherwise the homeopathic, energetic and probiotic elements maybe damaged (just a precaution).
Pros:Great ingredients and mix.
