Vitamins provide your body with nutritional support. There are two main types of vitamins: water-soluble and fat-soluble. Fat-soluble vitamins can be retained by your body for extended periods of time, while water-soluble vitamins can't.
Vitamin A is a type of fat-soluble vitamin, found in foods such as cheese, oily fish, milk, eggs, and liver.
This nutrient serves several important functions: it strengthens your immune system, helps you see more clearly in low light, and
keeps your skin healthy. All the vitamin A you need can be obtained from a healthy diet. A poor diet can cause low levels of vitamin A, which is a condition called vitamin A deficiency. Other risk factors for developing vitamin
A deficiency include following a vegan diet, being diagnosed with cystic fibrosis or inflammatory bowel disease, consuming excessive amounts of alcohol, and having low iron levels (iron deficiency). A mild vitamin A deficiency often
causes no symptoms. However, in its most severe form, vitamin A deficiency can result in night blindness, which is an inability to see in the dark, even when sufficient light is present. It can also cause poor immune functioning, making
you more prone to suffer from minor illnesses. Pure Encapsulations’ Vitamin A 10,000 IU may help you avoid these problems.
This supplement gives you a convenient way to boost your vitamin A levels. Vitamin A is the only active
ingredient in this product. Each softgel capsule provides you with 10,000 IU of this important vitamin, which supports clear vision and healthy growth, defends against illness and disease, and maintains your skin’s health. It contains
vitamin A from Norwegian cod liver oil, as well as vitamin A palmitate, but don’t worry—its tasty lemon flavor masks its fishy origins!
One bottle of Vitamin A 10,000 IU by Pure Encapsulations contains 120 capsules, which should
last for about four months. Take one capsule daily with a meal, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
Pure Encapsulations seeks to formulate and manufacture high-quality, hypo-allergenic dietary supplements. Quality control during the
formulation and manufacturing process is paramount. All Pure Encapsulations products are made with the most bioavailable ingredients possible.
