Provided a lot of gas
This is supposed to boost the immune system but all it did was to make me feel like I was full of gas. This is the fourth Klaire Labs product my family has tried and none of them really worked for us. I read that Klaire made good products (No More Heartburn: Stop the Pain in 30 Days--Naturally! : The Safe Effective Way to Prevent and Heal Chronic Gastrointestinal Disorders) but the book was written in 2000 evidently things have changed since then.
The price and description was good.
Provided a lot of gas which stopped when I stopped using it.

Healthy Gut equals Healthy Immune System
We use probiotics on the advice of our MD for our son with Short Bowel Syndrome (no small intestine.) Along with improving stool quality and reducing stool frequency we have found that using probiotics have improved our familys immune system. We are sick less often and for a shorter duration than before. Now after 7 years of daily probiotic use our children have never had "stomach flu." We initially used this particular product when our son was on antibiotics several years ago. It contains l. casei a strain well studied for its use against c diff (a common bacterial infection following antibiotic use) as well as h. pylori (suspected in some ulcers of the GI tract.)
Gentle lower priced than other options in this line. Strains are well studied.
Lower potency: we have to take 2-3 capsules to get the equivalent amount of beneficial bacteria in other probiotics.
