As far as research can tell, the only natural progesterone is the one produced in the body, under a process where specific building blocks are converted into the desired end products. Here, the source material does not constitute the definition of "natural," the process does. While the body uses one thing to make another, the chemical lab uses numerous fractions of unrelated compounds to create something that is at best only a mimic of the desired end product.
