I recently figured out that after 20 years of various health problems that no doctor could figure out or help solve that my thyroid (hypothyroidism, actually) was to blame. After much research, I changed my diet and began taking ThyroFem- 2 capsules twice a day. It has been about 6 weeks and not only do I feel better, I lost the 14 pounds I magically gained out of nowhere a couple months back. (In fact, I lost the first seven pounds in two weeks.) I am now down to 2 capsules once a day.
If someone is having thyroid issues, I don't think this is a supplement that should be taken with the mindset that it will suddenly- and magically- fix all their ills. This is a supplement for nourishing your thyroid in order to help it work better. Other things, such as diet and exercise, are just as necessary.
I have recommended this product to people in my family. Apparently, thyroid issues are a problem in our history. I have learned thyroid issues are, unfortunately, something that doctors miss/overlook even when they order such tests because of how they read the results. That is exactly why I have had health issues for years all relating to my thyroid despite being tested. I was worried because some say once your thyroid is messed up, you cannot restart it. I feel this may be inaccurate. With ThyroFem and my diet changes, I am definitely back on track. I know I am no medical professional and that I don't have the schooling or data to make any claims of 'being healed'. All I can say is doctors are taught to treat symptoms- not keep you healthy. I figured out what I needed to know for myself and I am finally back to feeling like a human being- for the first time in a long time.
Pros:affordable, has all the necessary nutrients (vitamins, minerals and herbs) for thyroid support
Cons:can cause stomach upset if not taken with food
