Mg. possibly too low
February 16, 2011
I used to take 60mg of Armour a day. I ordered this formula that contains 40mg, but I forgot that most articles will tell you that OTC formulations are far lessor in strength. So 40mg of this glandular cannot be compared to 40mg of Armour. You would need far more of this glandular, yet we really don't know how much as that isn't spelled out in most articles I've read. Although this formula does contain a host of other glandulars, as has been studied to be beneficial along with the thyroid glandular.....I feel I will need a formula with much more thyroid in it. I have already ordered one with 300mg.....
I have been on this formula for a little over a week, taking first two pills a day then 7 pills a day. As of yet, my hair loss has not stopped, but has slowed. My temperature was up within two days from 93 degrees to 97.
Pros:The other glandulars included along with the thyroid glandular
The source materials are from New Zealand, without antibiotics or hormones
Allergy Research Group is a reputable pharma company
Cons:Thyroid mg are just too low. You have to take many more pills, thus raising the cost of this product per dose.
