About Phosphorylated Serine in Seriphos

Phosphorylated Serine is the active form of the nutrient Phosphatidyl Serine (found in some foods such as egg yolks) that is chelated with magnesium and calcium. This is one of the factors that makes Seriphos unique. Many competitors use the inactive form, Phosphatidyl Serine, as opposed to the active Phosphorylated Serine. If you choose one of the other products, its potency will rely on the efficiency of your digestive tract. Since Seriphos uses the active form, your body has less work to do before reaping the benefits.

Seriphos does not contain fatty acids, as many competing products do. Fatty acids  are known to oxidize over time, creating an unstable and short-lived product. Because of its stable nature, Seriphos has a longer shelf life than the competition.

Why Cortisol is Important

If you have too much cortisol being secreted by your adrenal glands, your body can become resistant to its effects. Cortisol is important because it works to cool inflammation and minimize oxidation under times of stress. Seriphos Active Ingredients

Each capsule contains 90 mg of serine phosphate derived from calcium and magnesium and delivered in a base of calcium and magnesium ethanolamine phosphate.

The nutrients provided are elemental calcium (45 mg), Magnesium (45 mg) and Phosphorous (190 mg).

How to Take Seriphos by Interplexus

Seriphos is commonly taken in one dose of one capsule about 20 minutes before or in-between meals with plenty of fluids. The dosage can be worked up gradually as directed by your doctor. For optimal performance, take Seriphos about one hour before the time of day when your cortisol levels are most elevated. If you do not know when your levels are elevated, talk to your doctor. Seriphos is generally taken for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 9 months. You should discuss dosage with your physician to determine the best plan for you.

If you experience hyperactivity and/or mild insomnia, consider eliminating your evening dose and restrict dosages to just before morning and noon meals.
