Q-Gel® 100 mg by Pure Encapsulations provides coenzyme Q10 (also known as CoQ10 or ubiquinol) derived from Japanese yeast fermentation. CoQ10 is an antioxidant that can also promote energy production. Almost every one of your cells contains this coenzyme‚ but the amount of CoQ10 present in your body may naturally decline with age.
Hydrosoluble™ Q-Gel® 100 mg is manufactured with patented Bio Solv® technology‚ which creates tiny CoQ10 particles. More of the surface area is exposed to bile salts in the stomach‚ possibly making this supplement easier to absorb.
In addition to 100 milligrams of coenzyme Q10‚ every Q-Gel® 100 mg softgel capsule also provides 150 IU (international units) of vitamin E‚ a fat-soluble nutrient that may help increase the bioavailability of this supplement. However‚ you don’t have to worry about taking this CoQ10 supplement with meals that contain fat.
At the recommended dosage of one or two softgels daily‚ each 60-capsule bottle of Pure Encapsulations’ Q-Gel® 100 mg should last for about one or two months.
Each softgel capsule contains:
Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopheryl acetate)........................................... 150 i.u.
Coenzyme Q10 ..........................................................................100 mg
Other ingredients: gelatin‚ sorbitol‚ glycerin‚ purified water‚ annatto seed extract (natural color) in a patented Bio Solv® base (polysorbate 80‚ hydroxylated soy lecithin‚ medium chain triglycerides).
Pure Encapsulations recommends 1-2 softgels per day‚ in divided doses‚ with meals.
