Pyridoxal-5'-Phosphate an active co-enzyme form of vitamin B-6 required in amino acid metabolism, sphingolipid biosynthesis and degradation, hemebiosynthesis, neurotransmitter biosynthesis, collagen formation and glucocorticoid action. Sub-normal activity of the enzyme pyridoxal kinase, low levels of zinc or magnesium or impaired membrane transport can cause a deficiency of Pyridoxal-5'-Phosphate. Certain drugs and physiological disorders have been reported to decrease plasma levels and increase metabolic requirements for Pyridoxal-5'-Phosphate.

Enteric coated to dissolve in the small intestine for maximum absorption.


Other ingredients: dicalcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, sodium croscarmellose, magnesium stearate.

I had no trouble with my orders.
Pros:
I really like this company since I need the Vit B-6 for a six lb pomerainian. She needs 10 mg and without calicum. When I first started looking for it, to get a small enough dose, I would have had to order from England. Also, most B-6 has alot of calicum in it.

I would recommend this item to a friend.
