This probiotic is superior in quality to others that we have tried. My local naturopath recommended this one in particular due to the independent testing it had undergone and that the bacteria were very much alive compared to some that are inactive upon arrival. I advise folks to pay the extra few dollars to have it shipped with ice packs to ensure that the package doesn't get too warm, thus killing the product. We use this daily for our newborn (mixed into a breastmilk bottle), as we did for our first child who had acid reflux. The implementation of this probiotic substantially helps the digestion of infants and their immunity. It's great for children and adults, especially after the use of antibiotics for infections as it introduces new "good" bacteria to the system and GI tract which have been killed off with the antibiotics.
