Prenatal Pro™ provides optimal supplementation for pregnant women, lactating women, and women wishing to become pregnant. The earlier supplementation begins the better because women need adequate nutrient stores to meet the greater nutrient demands for a growing baby. It is also the only prenatal multivitamin on the market to use NatureFolate™, a blend of natural folates, in place of synthetic folic acid.

The minerals chosen for Prenatal Pro™ are true chelates, which provide superior absorption compared to those found in standard prenatal vitamins. These minerals are dosed at levels to help achieve optimal results, such as:

• Calcium and magnesium for healthy bone formation
• Ferrochel chelated iron – most bioavailable on the market, non-constipating
• Significant levels of chelated zinc – to reduce risk of pre-term babies

My acupuncturist/naturopath person recommended these prenatals. I have taken them from 2 months before getting pregnant and am now approaching 2nd trimester. Taking 3 capsules twice a day is tough, but they aren't huge, and don't have a nasty smell or aftertaste. Nice to know I'm taking naturally derived vitamins rather than synthetic. Pregnancy is going great, and no morning sickness, though I have no idea if that's related.
Pros:
No aftertaste, no smell.
Cons:
Having to take 6 capsules a day.

I would recommend this item to a friend.
