I have used Olive Leaf Extract as a immune system builder and to fight of sickness, and thorne makes the best. I started using it after my ND suggested them over the "other brand" I was using and haven't looked back.
Pros:
easily absorbed and gentle on your system
does not harm good bacteria
great for general immune system builder

I have taken this when needed for the past 2 years as a herbal antibiotic. Recommended by my Chiropractor and Naturepath, they recomend it as it kills 6-8 other infections in your respatory tract that other antibotics don't touch and the best part is it doesn't kill of your good bactirea in your guts. That means no yeast infection after a round of antibitocs. Yea! I always get the dose from the Dr. and for how long to take it. Don't just self dose or you will over use it just like a regular antibiotic and then be worse off when you need it to work.

Doesn't kill off gut flora like a man made antibiotic does.
