Most Effective Supplement

It has taken me 40 years to correct a severe, chronic, traumatic, constipation problem I've had since I was at least 5 years old. I've followed E V E R Y recommendation, and have had Z E R O success. I've done rituals and routines for extended periods of time with Flax, psyllium, whole fresh fruits and veggies in copious amount, all manner of grain, beans and lentils, water (as well specialized expensive waters), enemas of all kinds, belly massages, special exercises, hormone therapies, herbal laxatives, heavy-duty prescription laxatives, vitamins/minerals, and colon hydrotherapy....along with various dietary changes (eliminating dairy, grains and grain products), mental exercises, breathing exercises, and meditation. A few of these worked short-term only, and some came with horrible side effects that seemed worse than the constipation itself.
I had resigned myself to accepting this as my burden to bear for life, but I was always hopeful as long as I had life so I was open to anything else I could try. Someone suggested magnesium. When I initially tried it nothing happened. I almost gave up on magnesium, when it was suggested that I take higher dosages to saturate my system.
The saturation routine most certainly made a mighty move on my bowels within 3 hours (1 tablespoon per hour). I figured this effect would not last, and that I'd end up abandoning magnesium just as I had all other previous remedies, but to my very pleasant surprise, I continue to have BM's every single day since high-dosing with magnesium initially, and then backing down the dose to only 1 tablespoon per day. I can now skip a day of magnesium use and still have BM's. 'Happy' and 'relieved' cant begin to describe my experience with magnesium supplementation.
Pros:All body processes in a more relaxed state, and functioning like normal, healthy young people
