I have been taking Magnesium Citrate in various forms for several years, to help with Lyme disease, diabetes, constipation, leg cramps, and restless legs. My naturopathic doctor recommended that I use Magnesium Citrate for easy absorption and to be gentler on my digestive tract. I have to take 2 capsules 4 times a day in order to relieve the muscle cramps in my legs and relieve constipation.
Pros:Relieves muscles cramps, restless legs, constipation
Cons:Gelatin capsule--wish it were vegetarian instead
