I''ve been using this licorice formula for months now and I love it. My cortisol was on the very low end in the mornings, and by taking this supplement, I was able to raise my cortisol to a more normal level. It's so much easier getting out of bed in the morning!

Although I wanted Licorice Plus to work for me, it didn't and gave me side effects insomnia and increased appetite amid others.

Perfect supplement for my needs

I have been taking Metagenics Licorice Plus twice daily for about two months now, following the prescription by my naturopath for treatment of a serious case of adrenal overload. We tested several other products, but this one was definitely the one for me. At one point, about two weeks into treatment, I happened to run out for a few days and I could definitely tell something important was missing after a day without it. My symptoms started to creep back in - upper body soreness, slightly swollen glands, over-sensitivity to just about everything, heightened anxiety, etc. Since this is not something that has a quick cure, I am looking forward to at least a year of recovery and this product will be a significant part of it.
