When I first started to use Dr. Bronner's soap, I LOVED LOVED LOVED it. It does a perfect job of removing oils and sweat completely! But it doesn't do too well for visible dirt - if you have dirt stuck in the cracks of your skin, you will either need a scrubber that could remove the same dirt with water, or you will need a backup brand of soap. This did not prevent me from using this as my main soap for a long time, because you usually don't have visible dirt stuck on your body.
However, after being able to shower whenever I want and doing this sometimes daily from sweat or sex, I noticed that the soap does irritate the skin - and my skin is not at all sensitive. This soap is meant to be diluted, but nowhere does it say how much. Before ever reading this, I would put a literal drop on my hands to wash them, or a small line on the cloth to wash my body - this did require 1 or 2 refreshings due to it being on a washcloth and therefore less spreadable and easier to wash off. This does NOT work at laundry soap due to it's less-then-average ability to remove actual dirt, however, I frequently use it to clean and wash the washcloth I am using at the snk or in the shower and it does work for that. It does not work very well at all for removing the sexual fluids from your thighs.
This soap is EXCELLENT for removing body oils and sweat (not including female cum or leakage) from the body. It does not have multiple uses like the bottle says (NEVER try this as shampoo!!), and it is irritating to the skin, especially on the genitals if you use it every day. I would say this soap is definitely a requirement for travelers and people who hike or stay outside a lot, are homeless, etc., if the human using it is one who does not like to feel dirty/oily/sweaty/etc. If you live in a house every day or most days, then this soap is good to have around for when you're oily, but a different brand should be your twice-weekly soap. Use this one for oil and sweat and the other one for dirt, food, or sexual fluids.
The lavender soap can be sniffed for calming effect, and an even better effect can be done by using this soap in a hot bath.
Pros:Removes oils REALLY well.
Cons:Does not work on sexual fluids, irritates the genitals, contains tocopherol.
