Glyco-Flex® I Feline contains brand GlycOmega™ Perna (Green Lipped Mussel) to optimize support of your cat’s joint function, while at the same time providing the building blocks necessary for the normal metabolic pathways that support joint structure, function, and comfort.

GlycOmega™ Perna canaliculus from New Zealand is from an exclusive source available only to Vetri-Science® Laboratories. Perna is an edible species of shell? sh that has been freeze-dried in a concentrated powder. It provides many constituents necessary to maintain healthy connective tissue as well as support the cellular processes required for injured or aged joints. Perna is rich in amino acids, naturally chelated minerals, essential fatty acids, glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and vitamins all of which work together to support joint structure and function. GlycOmega™ Perna contains all major classes of GAGs including Chondroitin Sulfates and Hyaluronic Acid that occur in connective tissue such as joint cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and synovial ? uids. Th e perna used in our Glyco-Flex® products is time-tested and cost e? ective!

DMG is naturally produced in the body. It can support physical and mental energy levels and e? cient oxygen utilization in tissues. DMG acts as an antioxidant to protect the joints.

Glucosamine has been shown to support the production of glycosaminoglycans within the cartilage matrix and synovial ? uid. As cats age, there is a decrease in the production of GAGs, which can result in joint stress, thinning of synovial ? uid, and breakdown of connective tissue. Glucosamine also supports bladder and urinary tract health by improving the integrity of the mucosal lining.

MSM is a source of organic sulfur. It supports the structure of joints and connective tissue. Increased availability of MSM is linked to greater comfort and mobility, as well as the support of collagen production.

Manganese is an essential mineral for the formation of collagen, GAGs, and proteoglycans, all of which support required cartilage integrity. A lack of Manganese can lead to ine? cient production within the joints.

Maintenance: (After initial period) 1 - 8 lbs: 1/2 tablet daily. Over 8 lbs: 1 tablet daily.
