If you have digestive problems—such as bloating and diarrhea—after eating products that contain gluten‚ you may have gluten sensitivity or intolerance. Symptoms of gluten sensitivity are caused by your body’s inability to metabolize the gluten protein found in grains like wheat‚ barley‚ and rye. Gluten sensitivity can range in sensitivity from a mild intolerance all the way to Celiac disease‚ the latter of which is an autoimmune disorder that prevents the absorption of gluten proteins. If you have a milder case‚ you may not have to eliminate gluten entirely; more severe conditions usually mean that cutting all gluten-containing foods from your diet is the only way to relieve and prevent gastrointestinal distress.
Eliminating gluten from your diet can be more difficult than it initially seems. The most obvious culprits—such as bread‚ pasta‚ tortillas‚ and pastries—can be easily done away with. It becomes more difficult when the offending substance is a hidden ingredient: for example‚ wheat flour is used as a filler and thickening agent in products such as soup‚ spices‚ and even lunch meats. In severe cases of the allergy‚ even oat products have been known to cause difficulties. Needless to say‚ eating out with friends and family can be a daunting task.
Pharmax’s Glutenzyme may help if you have mild gluten sensitivities. It contains enzymes that aid aid your digestive system in breaking down gluten proteins. The active ingredient in this supplement is a gluten-specific protease‚ which is an enzyme that promotes the effective digestion of proteins without major discomfort. The recommended dosage of Glutenzyme is one capsule with any meal or snack that contains wheat‚ barley‚ or rye products. One bottle has 60 vegetarian capsules‚ and provides a form of insurance against mild gluten sensitivity.

Works great for me!
My intolerance might be considered mild by some standards so I dont want to speak for everybody. But Ive been using these capsules for about 4 months. As long as I remember to take them I have NO symptoms of gluten intolerance. As a gluten-free diet would be very difficult & expensive the capsules are a life-line for me.
√ I would recommend this item to a friend.
