So far it is great--decreased hot flashes (to none), better mood, increased energy. I got results by the third day of taking one a day. I do tend to be sensitive to supp;ements and medications so someone else might take longer.
My cosmotologist suggested Estrovera after her OB/GYN suggested she try it for her hot flashes. Hurrah, it worked for her.So, I gave it a try. So far, I am very pleased. Oh yes, I am 72, and I think it has actually increased my libido also. Its all good.

I read about rhubarb extract to relieve hot flashes and night sweats on the People's Pharmacy website and thought I'd try it. I began to see/feel results in two weeks and now that I've been taking it for six weeks, the symptoms are 90% alleviated. Yahoo! No more sleeping on a towel.

After trying two monthsof Yam Root with not good results, I will have to say the hot flashes are better after two months. They are more tolerable and less often. I am back to sleeping again. I would certainly recommend.

One Hot Flash Every Hour--Gone!

Estrovera was suggested to me by a doctor and I was somewhat skeptical at first since nothing else in a natural form had worked so far. I couldn't take manmade hormones because they always gave me migraines. Within two weeks I noticed I wasn't having my usual once-an-hour hot flashes and no night sweats! The only thing I've noticed concerning side effects--which are not supposed to occur with Estrovera--is an ongoing canker sore inside my mouth, which I had also gotten when I took the manmade hormones. I'm hoping that if I cut back on the dose--take half a pill a day--that it will subside. Time will tell.

I have been taking Estrovera for about a month. My hot flashes are much better but not totally gone. I hope with continued use they will diminish furthur and eventually go away.

I have been using Estrovera for nearly two years to address hot flashes and it really works. I agree with other reviewers that Estrovera either eliminates the flashes altogether or dramatically reduces the frequency and severity. With the reduction in hot flashes comes a reduction in night sweats, too. My health care provider prescribed the tablets and gave me this tip for when "a pill" doesn't work as effectively: notice if the frequency and severity of the flashes changes, up or down, in a cyclical fashion throughout a year. When they are not as severe, my practitioner advises I cut the number of pills back; when they start getting more severe, I increase the dosage in a day. He recommends adding, first, in the morning, then, in the evening. In the very beginning, I started with one pill in the morning and, initially, got relief. He suggested I take one pill in the am, one in the evening, and my hot flashes went away...for about 3 months. When I noticed them increasing again, I took two pills in the morning, one at night, and got some relief. Two pills in the morning and two at night give me much more relief. My practitioner tells me he has a client who takes 3 pills in the morning and 1 to 3 at night during the "up" cycles and gets complete relief. Because of the cost, I endure what hot flashes I have with no more than 4 pills, 2 in the am and 2 in the pm. The "up" cycle seems to last a few weeks, maybe a month. So, about three times a year I am taking fairly increased dosages for a month, each; the remaining 9 months I am taking a pill or 2 a day.

When I started taking Estrovera I was having hot flashes back to back day and night. From the first pill they lessened, almost to the point of being gone. I took the pills for several bottles and was feeling so much better I decided maybe the hot flashes were gone and the cost was too high so didn't get the next bottle. Bad mistake. $1 a day for relief is so worth it. And now that I've found them online which saves the 20 mile trip I was driving to get them - so worth it.

I'd tried Amberen, which is about the same cost as Estrovera, however, the Estrovera worked to relive my night sweats. It's effective. And I sleep much better, too. Like one of the other reviewers, I take it in the evening with dinner as my night sweats are worse than my hot flashes. Now, I rarely have either. I've been using it for a month.

I'd been having several hot flashes a day/and night. I tried Soy Isoflavones without much success. My Dr told me Estrovera might be more effective. I noticed a change within days - at first the flashes were much more mild which was a relief. Now it's been about 2 weeks, and I've almost completely stopped having them - and the few I've had are hardly noticeable. I can actually sleep through the night without toweling off and changing shirts!

I initially purchased this product from an apothocary at the recommendation of my doctor for relief of night sweats. Instead of taking the product in the morning as recommended I took it at night at her suggestion. Within a week I was waking up less and when I did wake up I wasn't totally drenched. When I ran out I decided the cost of the product outweighed the relief I was getting. Within 2 weeks I was sorry I stopped taking it! I made the decision to purchase the product online to try and save some money and also because of the convenience. I'm so glad I went back on it! I'm once again sleeping much better and the hot flashes/night sweats aren't nearly as intense. I highly recommend this product for an all natural relief from hot flashes/night sweats due to hormone fluctuations.

I cannot use HRT so was looking for a natural alternative to help with hot flashes. A nurse Practitioner suggested this product. I found it to be less expensive here so I tried it . After one month I did not think it worked so I stopped. I realized then that it did relieve them. It has not taken them completely away but makes them bearable.

I'm on my second bottle and I'm glad to be off of taking estradiol drops. I'm already not getting as many hot flashes and they are not as servere. I'm glad to have found a product with no side affects. And estrovera also helps with anxiety and sleeping better at night. It's ashame not many people know about this product.

My ND prescribed this and it works - hotflashes and emotional ups and downs are gone. Be forwarned that you have to take it about a month before it's consistent. So don't give up until you've used two bottles.
