MILK THISTLE (Seed): Its constituents protect liver cells from chemical damage. It is indicated for a whole range of liver and gallbladder conditions‚ including hepatitis and cirrhosis. It is effective in increasing the secretion and flow of bile from the liver and gallbladder‚ and treats chronic uterine problems. It is perfectly safe for use by breast-feeding mothers.
LICORICE: The herb has effects upon the endocrine system and the liver. It has anti-inflammatory action. As an antihepatotoxic‚ licorice can be effective in the treatment of chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis‚ for which it is widely used in Japan. It inhibits the growth of several DNA and RNA viruses and irreversibly inactivates herpes simplex virus particles.
DANDELION (Taraxacum officinale): Dandelion is an effective diuretic and one of the best natural sources of potassium. It is an ideally balanced remedy that may be used safely whenever diuretic action is needed. Used for water retention related to heart problems. Is a valuable general tonic and liver tonic. Used for inflammation and congestion of the liver and gallbladder. It is specific for cases of congestive jaundice. Effective treatment for muscular rheumatism. Used for chronic jaundice‚ autointoxication‚ rheumatism‚ blood disorders‚ chronic skin eruptions‚ chronic gastritis and aphthous ulcers.
